2021 Hebei China-Japan Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Cloud Forum

With Technology Driving the Way Towards Sustainable, Green Development, the 2021 Hebei China-Japan Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Cloud Forum Was Successfully Held Online

The main goal was to further accelerate the industrial transformation of the Hebei province on top of setting the foundation for building a Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei ecologically-friendly environment in line with the implementation of the Party and State’s strategic structural upgrading, green transformation, and sustainable development.

Successfully held on November 24, 2021, and in the form of an online forum of experts, offline watching venues, and international liaisons. The event broadcasted live and attracted more than 70,000 online viewers.

The Deputy Director of Shijiazhuang Science and Technology Bureau and Director of Municipal Bureau of Foreign Experts, along with the Deputy Director of Tangshan Science and Technology Bureau and Director of Municipal Bureau of Foreign Experts, delivered speeches during the event.

Online Signing Ceremony

During the event, a signing ceremony took place. Professor Tadatomo Suga,Professor Tomohiko Ihara, Professor Ryosuke Nishikubo, Professor Kenzo Ibano, and Professor Azusa Hattori, along with key organizations involved in environmental protection and R&D in the province, signed as a gesture of further compromise to help develop local talent and projects. Thus, hopefully leading to both attracting and developing expertise in the energy conservation and environmental protection fields in the province of Hebei.

Expert keynote sharing and offline watching venues

The event also included Japanese experts from the field of energy conservation and environmental protection. Their goal was to bring about forward-thinking exchanges regarding cutting-edge technological developments, relevant current topics, and advanced theories in the field, along with putting them up to speed regarding the Hebei province’s current state of development in those areas, especially in Shijiazhuang, Tangshan City and Xingtai City.

Delegates in attendance expressed that the exchanges informed them well about the current situation of both the industry and the province towards the end of the conference. They also hoped to have more opportunities for further exchanges with international experts in the future.
